BRINGING READING BACK TO THE READING ROOM
On Thursday May the 9th at 7.30, Croydon Village READING ROOM will Host the first of many book signings and readings. The Reading Room was build by the Downing Family ( of Downing Street and Downing College ) almost 100 years ago and it has been a Village Hall, School, Church and Social Hub all this time. Following a year long restoration project last year, it now hosts Meetings, Pilates, Art Classes, Teaching, The Croydon Cafe, Paddle Tennis and THE CROYDON BOOK CLUB!Read more about BRINGING READING BACK TO THE READING ROOM

Steve Ellis - Art exhibition

READING ROOM REOPENS AFTER RENOVATION!
After 3 years of restoration, fund raising & the hard work of Croydons small population, this beautiful and historic Village Hall is about to be re opened! Built by the Downing Family in 1910 for the Villagers of Croydon and around, it is now a wonderful place to meet and socialise.Read more about READING ROOM REOPENS AFTER RENOVATION!

Croydon Village Car Boot Sale
Come and join us at the Croydon Village Car Boot Sale! The Reading Room is holding a car boot sale on Sunday the 4th of June. Call 07768 960531 to book your spot! £10 per car with proceeds going to the Croydon Reading Room. Refreshments and toilets will be available in the hall. Sellers please arrive at midday.
